Link House B&B is situated in the quieter part of the Lake District National Park, yet with access to many interesting places to visit such as the Whinlatter Visitor Centre where Ospreys can be viewed. A walkers paradise, the surrounding fells offer a range of walks and climbs of all grades with outstanding views, whilst he peaceful Bassenthwaite Lake offers sailing, rowing and fishing. A ten minute drive east takes you to Keswick on Derwentwater, with its bustling shops and many visitor attractions, while to the west is the charming market town of Cockermouth, where William & Dorothy Wordsworth were born in a handsome Georgian house in the main street, now owned by the National Trust. Further afield, Carlisle, Hadrian’s wall and the Scottish Borders make a fascinating day trip.

Rooms Description

Link House 4 Star bed and breakfast offers a choice of rooms to guests including single, double and twin options. Period features have been preserved in particular, the stained glass and the original fireplace. There are eight comfortable bedrooms, with colour television, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers, radio alarms & shoe cleaning kits. In the morning guests can relax and enjoy a full cooked breakfast using fresh local produce. Lighter options include cereals, muesli, fruit juice and grapefruit with seasonal options of fresh fruit salad or porridge. Link House also features a delightful conservatory, spacious dining room, lounge with licensed bar, cycle storage, private parking and drying facilities.
