Highbridge Cottages are two idyllic ETC 4 star luxury holiday self-catering cottages, located in the charming village of Braithwaite. Braithwaite is a walker's paradise in the northern Lake District, sitting at the foot of the Whinlatter pass, it acts as a gateway to the whole of the north-western chain of hills, a favoured spot by famous Lake District fell wanderer A.W. Wainwright. The village is also only two miles from Keswick, the capital of the northern Lakes in Cumbria, and ten miles from Cockermouth, the birthplace of William Wordsworth. Bassenthwaite Lake just a mile or so away.
The two self-catering holiday cottages in Braithwaite form part of a short terrace raised up above Coledale Beck, which flows gently past the forecourt. Both cottages are next door to each other in the same building, and can be hired either separately or as one unit. High Bridge sleeps 6 and Highbridge Cottage sleeps 4, or 5 with the collapsible bed. Both cottages offer self-catering holiday accommodation equipped to the same high level (ETC 4 stars), and are non-smoking and dog-friendly.
