Keswick Cottages offers a superb range of luxury holiday cottages, all inspected all have 4 - 5* Visit Britain grading signifying only the highest standards of luxury and comfort. Gold Award winners. Our aim is to make your holiday as comfortable as possible and we ensure that all our properties are thoroughly cleaned and checked between all lets and that all linen is changed weekly. All gas, electricity and linen is provided free of charge to guests and some of our properties accept pets by arrangement. Prices quoted are for full weeks from Saturday to Saturday, and full occupancy of the properties. Some of our properties have been designed with the elderly and for those with disabilities in mind, again please do let us know if we can help.

All of our properties are inspected by a recognised, qualified inspector and she ensures that each property complies with English Tourist Board requirements. We want to make sure that you wouldn't want to look anywhere else and make if our business to achieve a constantly high standard and exceed your expectations! We have given, in our opinion, an honest and extensive description of each property. We insist that every property is well equipped and has, as standard, central heating, parking, colour t.v., microwave etc and all the equipment, furniture, furnishings and fittings you will need for an enjoyable, relaxing self-catering break.

Rooms Description

The selection of cottages ranges from one to four bedroom cottages, sleeping from 2 to 8 people, and located in an around the Keswick area. Examples of Keswick Cottages available include Tithe Cottage, which sleeps 2 and is graded VB 4 stars. Tithe cottage is a new property with Keswick Cottages and has just been refurbished to offer excellent accommodation for couples close to Keswick centre. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with pine bed, wardrobe, a dressing table and a door which opens onto the courtyard to the back of the cottage. Upstairs there is and open plan lounge, dining kitchen area with high beamed ceilings which adds to the traditional feel of the cottage. The shower room is also on this floor and has shower cubicle with electric shower, w.c. and wash hand basin. For a larger cottage just outside Keswick in the beautiful village of Braithwaite opt for spacious Olives Cottage, graded VB4 stars and sleeping six people plus one infant. Olives Cottage is a deceptively spacious mid terraced cottage enjoying spectacular views from both front and rear windows. With easy access, being situated just off the Keswick to Cockermouth road. This centrally heated, well-equipped cottage offers great family accommodation, with fabulous views of Skiddaw and three bedrooms, one of which has bunk beds. This is just a taste of the properties we have on offer. As a local family we will always on hand to offer advice or assistance.

Other luxury property choices include Swinside Apartment which sleeps four people plus one infant, and has been graded VB 4 stars and also has a God award for standard and quality. This de-luxe apartment has views, with a lakeside picnic area on half a mile of private lake frontage in forty acres of woodland gardens. The apartment has been completely refurbished for 2009, including a complete new fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher etc. and the most superb views. All of the rooms are full of character with sloping ceilings etc. And the grounds offer a perfect place to escape and explore. For a really spacious choice of property, opt for Bridge House which sleeps 8 people plus one infant and has been graded Vb4 stars. This beautiful property is part of the Bridge House Complex which offers private parking, large gardens and a tennis court. The complex also has a children's play area and a barbeque area. Bridge House has lots of character with original fireplaces and beamed ceilings, and with two parking places. There is one large ground floor bedroom with pine bed, wardrobe and drawers, window shutters and the original fireplace. The Grand Georgian staircase leads to the first floor where there is a second bedroom which has twin beds (again furnished in pine) and a bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, w.c, wash basin and shaver point. Bridge House has a beautifully decorated spacious lounge with three comfortable settees, marble fireplace over a black grate, t.v, video, c.d player and excellent views towards Skiddaw.
