Melbreak House is a charming Victorian guesthouse in Keswick which retains many original features. We are situated in a residential area close to the centre of Keswick, so ideally close to all Keswick has to offer including many superb specialist shops, particularly outdoor wear and climbing gear shops, as well as gift shops and excellent sweet and antique shops. Keswick is a bustling North Lake District base, with all you're likely to need including banks, post office, restaurants, and the attractive Alhambra cinema. Guests can expect wonderful views over Derwentwater and the surrounding fells. Blencathra and Skiddaw are of course nearby. Our accommodation is comfortable, with all home cooked food and a very warm welcome.

All Rooms at Melbreak House are fully en-Suite, and the guesthouse sits in a peaceful location, yet close to amenities. All rooms have a colour TV, tea and coffee tray, clock radio in all rooms, and a ground floor double room is available for easy access. Guests also have their own keys, and we offer packed lunches and your flask filled on request. Guests have free use of an Iron/Ironing Board. We welcome children and dogs at £2.50 each. For the comfort of all our guests, Melbreak House is a non-smoking guesthouse.
