Bluestones is an ideal base for exploring the Lakeland Fells - a delight for both serious hillwalkers and relaxed strollers. The lakes of Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite lie within easy reach and 'Go Ape' now have a site in the Whinlatter Forest for an exhilarating day out. A few minutes brings you into Keswick centre with a range of bars and restaurants, interesting shops, tea rooms and Cars of the Stars museum. A night out might include catching a film at the Alhambra Cinema or a show at the Theatre by the Lake, where we can arrange discounted tickets for guests. Whether it is walking, boating, cycling, climbing, horse riding or paragliding there is something for everyone in this delightful area. There are several major walking routes and cycling routes in the local area including the Cumbria Way, Allerdale Ramble and Coast to Coast.
