A warm welcome awaits you at Greystoke House Guesthouse, situated in Keswick, in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Originally a Victorian town house built around the 1850's in local skiddaw slate, Greystoke house offers warm and comfortable accommodation in both standard single and double en-suite rooms. We are a non-smoking, dog friendly Bed & Breakfast, situated in a quiet location within walking distance of Keswick town centre. Greystoke House is ideally located to visit a variety of local attractions including the Theatre by the Lake, Keswick museum and 'The cars of the stars', and provides the perfect base for walking and exploring this beautiful area of the Lake District.

Guests are supplied with their own set of house keys and can have access to their rooms all day. Welcome brochures in the bedrooms contain information relating to Keswick and local attractions as well as information about Greystoke House. During your stay let us help you plan a day on the fells, we can supply maps, pack lunches and fill your flasks. We have safe cycle storage and a drying room should the Lake District weather be unkind.

Rooms Description

Recently refurbished to a high standard in calming cream colours with pine furniture. Rooms well equipped with central heating, tea/coffee hospitality trays, colour tv's, CD clock radios, hairdryers and relaxed furnishings. Double bedded rooms have bright en-suites with power showers and fluffy white towels. Single rooms have vanity units, fluffy white towels and access to a bright new shower room/wc along the hall.

Specialities

We welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes, we just ask that guests are responsible for them at all times whilst they are in the house. We charge £5 per dog per stay.
