The guesthouse is ideally situated in the North Lake District on an elevated site close to Castlerigg Stone Circle and Keswick town centre. It enjoys panoramic views of Grisedale Pike and Latrigg. A fifteen minute walk along the scenic Keswick old railway footpath takes you to Fitz park, the leisure centre, theatre, cinema, shops, pubs, restaurants and Derwentwater, which offers ample opportunity for watersports.

Laurel Bank is a non-smoking bed and breakfast throughout for your comfort, and is conveniently open all year round. The self-service breakfast buffet includes cereals, fruit juices, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts and cheeses with home-made chutney and hot breakfasts from the kitchen are cooked to order with options to suit everyone ranging from a simple boiled egg with toast to the full English breakfasts. Hearty vegetarian and smoked fish options are also available if you prefer.

All our bedrooms are en-suite and have Flat screen TV and Video, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a clock radio alarm. Our cosy standard double rooms are at the rear of the property, two overlook the colourful wooded hills of Latrigg the third is on the ground floor and also has a limited view of Latrigg through the pretty rear courtyard. Standard double rooms are available for single occupancy with a small supplement - telephone Margaret on 017687 73006 for details. Our two larger rooms are available as superior double/twin or family occupation and have stunning views over Keswick towards Grisedale Pike. Free wi-fi access in some bedrooms and all public rooms

The guesthouse is perfect for visiting Castlerigg Stone Circle and Keswick town centre, it is an ideal base to leave your vehicle in the secure private car park whilst you explore the northern fells on foot. Walking to Keswick town centre is a joy along the Keswick old railway footpath. This scenic route takes in panoramic views of Grisedale Pike and Latrigg and a tranquil moment on the footbridge over the river Greta. There is a large private car park at the rear of the bed and breakfast, with a secure cycle store and drying facilities should you need them.
