We at Threapland Moss are in an ideal woodland location, great for exploring all the Northern Lakes. We provide excellent bed and breakfast accommodation in doubles, twins, singles and family rooms. Start the day well by enjoying a delicious Cumbrian breakfast with locally sourced produce and free range eggs. After a busy day guests can relax in the private sun lounge and observe horses grazing, with frequent visits of deer, fox, pheasants, owls and of course red squirrels. We also have stables should you want to bring your horses with you. Being members of the Horse Holidays in Cumbria society we can provide maps and routing for you and your horse to explore the bridleways and paths.

A short drive takes you to the market town of Cockermouth home of William Wordsworth and the Jennings brewery. Cockermouth Golf Club is close by and offers our guests discounted green fees. We also offer private hire of a local leisure pool. We will make your holiday as memorable and enjoyable as possible; we like meeting people and are happy to help plan walking or riding routes should you require it. We can also show you the way to various pubs and restaurants nearby that we use ourselves and highly recommend.

Rooms Description

Guest bedrooms are light, airy and tastefully designed , most having private facilities. All rooms have tea/coffee, and digital TV. We can provide flowers, champagne, wine or chocolates in your room upon request.

Specialities

Self Catering accommodation is also available in a delightfl cottage which sleeps up to 4 people. We provide an internet connection, and packed lunches on request. Pets are welcome in the cottage but not for B/B. The property has no disabled facilities, but the cottage is on one level
