Long Marton Station, 3 miles north of Appleby on the scenic Settle - Carlisle Railway in Cumbria famous for its steam trains, closed in 1970 but has been painstakingly restored over the past 10 years. Situated in the unspoilt Eden Valley in Westmorland, with the Lake District hills to the west and the Pennines to the east, the Station is the ideal base for exploring the Lake District, the North of England and the Scottish Borders.

The self catering accommodation sleeps 4 plus a baby (pets by arrangement), and consists of a double bedroom with cot, a twin bedroom, lounge, dining room, kitchen and bathroom, with all mod cons including gas central heating and secondary double glazing. Outside there is a large lawn and ample on-site parking.
