The holiday park is conveniently situated close to historic Appleby in Westmoreland, famous for it's castle and old church. Wild Rose has been welcoming visitors to Cumbria for more than 25 years and we take great pride in our reputation for providing first class facilities for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, and luxury holiday homes for private ownership. This award winning park is set in 40 acres of quiet countryside landscaped to enhance its natural beauty. Our four touring areas, some of which are hardstanding with gravel for an awning, others all grass, each have their own distinct character and are separated from each other and the holiday homes by hedgerows that are alive with colour. Guests can experience true luxury for a family holiday each having their own patio area with a picnic table, water, electric and satellite TV points.

The caravan holiday park has many superb modern facilities including modern toilet blocks equipped with individual wash cubicles, baby baths, hairdriers, electric shaver points and heating for the winter months. The laundry is fitted with modern washing machines and tumble driers, and there is free use of an iron. For your convenience our licensed mini-market is well stocked with all your everyday groceries, a good range of caravan accessories and Calor Gas refills can be exchanged. Tasty snacks and meals, either for taking away or eating in, can be enjoyed at the Sweetbriar eating place at reasonable prices. There are plenty of leisure activities at the holiday park including a soft ball court, a football pitch, basketball, playgrounds, putting green and two outdoor heated pools. When it rains, there is an indoor toddlers room and games and TV rooms for the older children. During the main school holiday periods sports competitions are organised for the children and walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the park.
