There's lots of space around the lodges and exquisite Eden Valley scenery. The lodges make a perfect base for walkers, in a setting of peace and tranquility. Artlegarth is a wonderful location for all the family to holiday. Panoramic views include those across Wild Boar Fell and the Howgills .The impressive lodges are constructed from the very finest Danish Pine logs with a local stone base and slate roof. All three are spacious and well equipped, and we welcome pets to one of the lodges only. Central heating makes them warm and cosy during the winter months. The lodges have a country cottage feel to them. Artlegarth is bounded by dry stone walls, fringed on one side by a screen of trees, with spacious driveways and an ornamental pond. An attractive stream flows alongside Artlegarth. There is also a small children's play area overlooking the sheep grazing in the field.

Ravenstonedale village is conveniently only 1 mile away. The whole region is an area of outstanding natural beauty with a wealth of activities on hand. Guests benefit from being between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District national parks, with easy access to both. Nearby are an extensive range of outdoor activities including golf, riding, fishing, and fell and dales walking country. Buzzards, curlews, woodpeckers and the red Red-squirrel are but just a few of the species regularly sighted at Artlegarth. The Settle-Carlisle Railway is also conveniently placed just 2 miles away from Ravenstonedale.
