Historic Camping barn, recently converted, sleeps 12 to 14,

Bents Camping Barn was originally a shepherds' cottage and dates back to the 1600s. The Barn, which is ideal for budget group accommodation, is a perfect outdoor activity base located close to the stunning Howgill Fells, with easy access to the Lake District National Park and superb walks from the barn door! The barn layout includes two sleeping rooms on the first floor, whilst the kitchen and dining area is positioned on the ground floor. Guests should bring with them sleeping bags, warm clothes and walking boots. Unfortunately we do not welcome pets. To hire all of the barn is only £6 per person per night

Electrical lighting and powerpoints run throughout the property, with a one pound meter system. There are 16 bunkbeds in total, and ample cutlery and crockery are provided. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, toaster, 3 electric cooking rings, 2 electric convector heaters and 2 electric kettles. The barn is surrounded by beautiful panoramic views of the local landscape and the Settle Carlisle Railway is only 5 miles away at Kirkby Stephen.
