Meaburn Hill Farmhouse offers guests a choice of bed and Breakfast and self-catering holiday cottage accommodation. Meaburn Hill is a B&B with a real edge. Guests can expect the warmest of welcomes from owner Annie, whose family have lived on the farm for many years. Superb home cooking is served, made on an Aga stove. Meaburn Hill Farmhouse is located in a peaceful and tranquil setting on the edge of the village green, overlooking the River Lyvennet. Guests can hear the sound of the Beck tinkling in the background! Enjoy traditional home cooking using locally produced meat and vegetables fresh from the Aga. Why not catch up on your reading or just listen to music in front of an open fire in the library or take afternoon tea on the lawn. The emphasis at Meaburn Hill is on your relaxation and comfort. Breakfast is usually served at a time of your choosing between 8.30 and 9.30 a.m. If you would like to have breakfast earlier, or later, please do ask. We also cater for special diet requirements and can adapt a menu to your preferences whether its gluten free, low salt or vegetarian. Vegetarian options are also available to Moslem/Hindu guests as we apologise, Halal meat cannot be sourced locally. Packed lunches can also be made up and of course I will fill up flasks on request. Most requirements can be managed if we are given prior notice. Extra touches are available, such as flowers for special occasions, which can be ordered with a couple of days notice.

Both the self-catering holiday cottage and the B&B Farmhouse are non smoking for the comfort of all our guests. Our farmhouse really is the perfect 'escape off the beaten track', in the beautiful Lyvennet Valley. This historic Westmorland longhouse dates from the 16th century, and owner Annie Kindleysides, whose family have worked the farm for many years, is a caring and attentive host and provides great breakfasts! There's lots of space in the farmhouse, and guests have the use of two lounges and the bedrooms have all the comforts of home.
