18th century holiday cottage in Middleton In Teesdale 10 miles from Barnard Castle. Two bedrom cottage sleeping up to 5 guests, family friendly, car parking

West House is an early, well maintained 18th century property in the picturesque village iof Middleton-in-Teesdale. This semi detached, stone cottage boasts tremendous views and a stylish and contemporary lounge with white sofas, a rocking chair and a decorative fireplace. There is an additional sitting room, with teal leather sofas, a cosy, traditional woodburner – set in an exposed brick fireplace – and rich, thick carpeting. The large, tiled kitchen is decked out in black and white, with an extendable table seating up to five. There are 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 5. The double is a romantic haven, decorated in sand and rose hues, with a black, brushed steel bedstead. There is also a family room, comprising a twin room with a pull out bed, decorated in blue and cream.

There is a cot and highchair available and an enclosed garden with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ facilities. Private fishing is available free of charge on the River Tees, pleas earrnage this with the owner. There is off road parking available for 2 cars. We are family friendly but unfortunately cannot accept pets. We are no smoking and self catering. There are shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The cottage is perched on the riverbank in the beautiful Tees Valley, an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' in County Durham.
