The Norcroft is a large Victorian House, Built in the 1860's, Recently refurbished & Ideal as a base for exploring the Lakes, or a one night stop. Offering High Standards of accomodation, all rooms Ensuite in which to unwind after your journey. Enjoy a Relaxing drink in our lounge, before a short walk into Penrith itself to enjoy the excellent range of Pubs and Restaurants you will find there. A car park is available at the rear of the house and car take comfortably upto nine cars. If you are arriving by train Penrith Station is only a 15 minutes walk away'`but call us and we may be able to come and collect you! A wide variety of breakfasts are available at The Norcroft to please everyone Cereals, Porridge, Toast, Cooked Breakfast, Lighter options and Meat Free options.

We have one room on the ground floor which has been fully fitted out as an accessible room. Access for the less mobile is through the car park and does not involve any steps. The bathroom which is a wet room has rails throughout a low level sink & shaver point etc. A shower seat is also available if requires. Should you prefer to be on the ground floor please ask for this room when making your booking. A total of nine Ensuite rooms available including Single, Twin, Double, Triple & Family. All rooms with Showers some with a bath aswell, Colour Television & Tea & Coffee making facilitys. Penrith is the first stop for those cyclists that are doing the Sustrans C2C route in three days. We have welcomed many weary cyclists with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee in our lounge, before sending them up to their rooms to prepare for a night in Penrith. We have welcomed parties of up to 22 cyclists (but book early!) In the event of damp weather we have a drying room for your clothes. Also available is secure storage for your bikes in our car park.
