Ring House Cottages, originally built as a farm around 1690, are surrounded by over 3 acres of gardens and meadows and offer a safe and tranquil playground for young and old alike. Our five cottages are set in the beautiful and unspoiled woodland valley close to both Coniston and Broughton-in-Furness. Each cottage has its own individual charm, some with original beams and log fires. All cottages are fully equipped, and bed linen and towels are provided. Dogs are welcome in certain cottages by arrangement. Charming cottages, lovely rural setting, superb walks and scenery.

STABLECROFT COTTAGE - Secluded and private is tucked into the centre of our traditional stone built Lakeland barn, now restored and converted into snug but spacious accommodation for two people. Relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets over Black Combe and the Duddon estuary. From the kitchen, the view is to the woods, scattered farms and Coniston fells. On the ground floor is a living room and fully equipped kitchen / diner. Upstairs is a comfortable double bedroom and full bathroom with bath and power shower. FARM COTTAGE - is at the heart of our 18th century Lakeland farmhouse. Its traditional oak-beamed rooms and open log fire provide special and comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. A separate dining room overlooks meadowland and Row Ridding Wood with its drifts of bluebells in the Spring. There is a secluded outdoor sitting area at the rear of the cottage - look out for deer, badgers and buzzards. Also downstairs is a large, fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with power shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedded room.
