Our gorgeous guest house, Lyndhurst Country House is situated at the very southern point of Lake Windermere and so we’re in a perfect position for easy access to many local attractions. Lyndhurst is exclusively non-smoking for the comfort of all our guests, and we welcome children aged 8+ years only. No pets. We have secure and dry cycle storage and have ample free parking for guest use. Attractions around the area inlcude Windermere cruises, Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway, The Aquarium, South Lakes Wild Animal Park and Holker Hall, Cartmel races and the new Lakeland Motor Museum.
