Rainbows End is an attractive well equipped apartment situated in Bowness on Windermere in the heart of the Lake District National Park. The property enjoys an enviable position in the centre of the village but with the added benefit of extensive views to the Lake & fells beyond with the Langdale Pikes in the distance. A wide choice of restaurants and local shopping (including 2 supermarkets) is close by and a 3 screen cinema is also nearby. Regular public transport is right on the doorstep and the railway station with frequent connections with the west coast main line is in Windermere village only a mile away. The lake shore and pier where there are lake cruises and regular ferry service to Ambleside and Lakeside is just a short stroll (300m). Children especially will enjoy the Beatrix Potter experience which is just a few minutes walk.

Rainbows End benefits from private car parking (essential in Bowness) and the accommodation comprises hall, comfortable open plan lounge /dining room , well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (1 twin 1 double bed) and fully tiled bathroom with 3 piece suite and shower over bath. Facilities include two comfortable 2 person leather settees, glass dining table, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, large flat screen digital TV in lounge ( and additional digital TV in bedroom) with a wide range of channels available, DVD player, video, radio/CD player, Smoke alarm and very efficient night storage heaters throughout the property. Electricity is included in the weekly charges. Bed linen is provided but towels are not available. Non Smokers only please. Sorry the property is not suitable for pets and therefore they are not permitted.
