The Westbourne is a stunning four diamond silver awarded traditionally stone built Lakeland guesthouse offering a warm and friendly welcome and a relaxed environment. Exclusively non-smoking, the Westbourne is ideally situated in a peaceful location below a short walk to the picturesque Biskey Howe View Point, which overlooks Lake Windermere and the surrounding fells. We're also just a minute's walk to the shops and many restaurants in Bowness and situated just off the Dales Way. We're the perfect base for many of the small walks to do in and around Windermere and Bowness. We have laminated maps of walks to lend out to our guests,and offer complimentary booklets detailing days out and local walks, all easy to moderate walking and ranging from 2 to 6 miles.

A private car park is available for all our guests and all bedrooms are en-suite. Secure storage for cycles and motorbikes is also offered. Relax in our cosy lounge bar where you can enjoy a good book/magazine, or a glass of wine whilst sitting by our real log fire. Occupy the children with some of the games on offer or just have a quiet chat and browse through the many information brochures and pamphlets and plan your next day events. Alternatively on those warm summer evenings take a refreshing drink out into the garden and watch the sun go down.
