'Blenheim Lodge . . . panoramic lake views, peace and tranquillity, nestled against 50 acres of beautiful National Park in the heart of the English Lake District.' Built in 1868, Blenheim Lodge boasts panoramic Lake Windermere views to the mountains beyond. Our guest house was fomerly a gentleman's residence, and has lovely period features such as cornices, beautiful wooden staircase, and a marble fireplace in the guest lounge and inglenook in the dining room. The house is located in Bowness on Windermere, but set back from the hustle and bustle of busy Bowness centre, in a quiet cul de sac in a residential area of the village, away from the traffic and crowds. Enjoy some peace and quiet here, where the silence is generally interrupted only by birdsong!

Blenheim Lodge is particularly attractive to people who want to enjoy a quiet break away. The Dales Way Walk is just a minute's walk from our front door. Three view points, including Post Knott which offers 360-degree views, are just 10-40 minutes walk from us. We have a private car park and offer FREE country club membership to our guests. Blenheim Lodge is situated at the top of a hill, and it is a 2-3 minute walk down to the village centre where guests will find lots of pubs, restaurants and other eateries, as well as shops, the Post Office, banks etc. Lake Windermere and the pier are 5-10 minutes walk as is the country club. Our guest house is a great home from home, and is a TOTALLY NON-SMOKING GUEST HOUSE. Guests are assured of friendly hospitality and a personal touch in our lovely family home!
