Fair Rigg Guest House is a charming ETC 4 diamond/Silver Award and AA 4 Red Diamond B&B offering guests simple and stylish, traditional bed and breakfast guest house accommodation in Bowness-on-Windermere. The guesthouse was designed and built in the heyday of Victorian architecture at the end of the 19th century, and is beautifully appointed with spectacular views of the local Fells. The house enjoys a country setting, and yet remains within easy walking distance of Bowness and the shore of Lake Windermere. Guests benefit from easy access to Bowness specialist shops, restaurants and inns as well as boat trips on Windermere. Designed to take full advantage of its hillside location, the house offers fine views, with most rooms looking out over fields and trees to the lake and fells beyond.

The dining room, with bay window looking out towards the hills, provides the ideal setting for a relaxing breakfast. Deer are often to be seen in the field outside. Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.00am, and the sideboard is laid out with a range of cereals, fruits, juices and yoghurts, complementing our wholesome Full English Breakfast cooked using top quality produce. Fair Rigg has its own private car park, and sorry we are not suitable for children under 14 years of age. We have a strict Non-Smoking policy throughout the guesthouse.
