Tiberthwaite Farm Cottage is a perfect walker base cottage situated at the head of the beautiful hidden valley of Tilberthwaite, on a working farm once owned by Beatrix Potter. The holiday cottage actually contains some furniture once owned by Beatrix Potter! The position is mid-way between the village of Coniston and the Langdales, so guests have easy access to all the Langdale Fells, plus to Coniston Water and John Ruskin country and his home, Brantwood. The cottage is part of the early 18th Century farmhouse that adjoins the owners home. The Wilkinson family offer guests a warm welcome to their working hill sheep farm, where they keep the Lake District's indigenous breed of Herdwick sheep along with some cows, chickens and the friendly farm dogs.

Guests can expect magnificent views across the fells in a quiet peaceful location making an excellent base for walking or touring. The two bedroomed cottage sleeps 4 and welcomes children of any age. The property is available Saturday - Saturday from 15.00 arrival, departure 10.00. There are no hidden extras, and all linen and electricity are included in tariff.
