We are nicely situated in a scenic area of the Lake District, with stunning views surrounding the properties. There are many activities to try your hand out in the local area, most within walking distance. Why not climb Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, or visit Wastwater, England’s deepest lake, (voted the best view in England). Of course there are many riverside, valley, mountain and country walks starting from the doorstep. The Ravenglass & Eskdale Miniature Railway runs through the farmland, and is a fascinating ride from the coast to the centre of the valley. For a day full of history and excitement stop in at Muncaster Castle with its Owl Sanctuary or Hardknott Roman Fort and Ravenglass Roman Bath House
