Hill Top, the famous home of Beatrix Potter is only a mile away! The guesthouse has excellent views across Lake Windermere and is ideal for walkers, mountain bikers, anglers or simply as a relaxing and peaceful retreat. We're only 3 miles from Esthwaite Water making us the perfect spot for anglers!

Relax and enjoy hearty breakfasts in our Breakfast Room, which is a typical farmhouse style room and is bright, airy and the perfect place to start your day. Full English breakfast is served daily and is included in the price. A choice of cereals and fruit drinks as well as tea and coffee are available. Packed lunches are available on request and guests have access to free car parking in Hawkrigg's own private car park as well as full use of the garden and facilities. A lock up garage for storage of bikes and equipment and bike hire is also available.
