Nether Wasdale is a west Cumbrian village and is situated at the end of England's deepest lake Wastwater. You will not find it difficult to find places to visit as there are over four hundred towns and villages in Cumbria alone! If you enjoy visiting museums, you will be spoilt for choice. Take a trip to the Beatrix Potter Gallery in Hawkshead, Windermere Steamboat Museum, Museum of Lakeland Life in Kendal or Keswick Mining Museum to name just a few. Additionally there is Hadrian's Wall, the most important monument built in Britain by the Romans. There are so many things to see and do, or you can just sit back and relax in the hotel.

Rooms Description

The superior individual bedrooms are located in the main hotel and the standard bedrooms can be found in the separate lodge. All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom comprising of a bath and shower or just a shower. Each room is also equipped with a colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and a radio. The superior rooms are all individual and some have a four poster bed and others have an additional seating area.

Specialities

Packed lunches, drying room, bike hire and transport to and from your daily activities if required. Painting courses are also available. All bedrooms within the hotel and lodge are completely non-smoking. Children over 12 years old are welcome, however family rooms are not available. Regrettably, pets cannot be accommodated.
