We are wonderfully situated in the Troutbeck Valley, where you can take in stunning scenery and landscapes. The area is home to a maze of footpaths making us greatly located for those wanting to experience the outdoors. We are also only three miles from Windermere where you will find many quirky shops, cafes and attractions to visit such as the World of Beatrix Potter. Make sure you are back in time for tea at our renowned restaurant where you can sample our mouth watering dishes. Our menu of gourmet pub food is varied and extensive with many dishes using locally sourced produce such as local duck eggs, homemade beef burgers, our own Cumberland sausages and our very own Queen's Head fish pie. You can wash this all down with one of the various real ales on offer.
