The south lakes are has a wide and varied list of attractions and activities available to visitors to suit all needs, from Abseiling to Zoo's and just about everything in between!. Outdoor pursuits dominate the activities which range from walking and horseriding through to mountainbiking and sailing. Southview operates on a bed & breakfast board basis, this is because we are only a couple of minutes stroll from the very wide variety of bars, restaurants and cafe's in Windermere town centre. The choice of eateries is further widened if you look into Bowness ( a 15 minutes walk or 5 minute cab/bus ride).

Rooms Description

The accommodation at Southview Guest House consists of 10 en-suite bedrooms (5 Superior (with either Spa Baths or Body Jet Showers), 1 Four-Poster & 4 Classic), an informal residents bar lounge, a breakfast dining room and our very own (residents only) indoor swimming pool (heated to 82 degrees in Winter) which leads on to our relaxing "southfacing" patio for those long summer days! All of our rooms are individually furnished and decorated, and all are en-suite and centrally heated with the facilities you would expect from a Quality Guesthouse.
