The Lingmoor Guest House in Windermere is well located just a 2 to 3 minutes walk from the train and coach station. We aim to offer a freindly relaxed stay in clean, comfortable rooms so that you can unwind and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the lakes. We are priveleged to have something for everyone from complimentary leisure facilities, horse riding, fishing, golfing, guided walks or just strolling round the shops, bars and restaraunts.
Guests have easy access to Windermere's superb choice of excellent bars, restaurants and local shops and a 20 minute walk will bring you to Lake Windermere, where boats can be hired or a lake cruise taken. Relax and enjoy a full hearty English breakfast in our dining room served everyday between 8.30 and 9.30am. Accommodation is available throughout the year at the guesthouse. We offer complimentary leisure facilities and discounts vouchers for golf. Please note we operate a no smoking policy.
Rooms Description
Each of our 5 bedrooms are all tastefully furnished and decorated offering a pleasant and comfortable stay. All rooms are fully equipped with a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryers and ironing facilities are available on request. Rooms are available in twin, double and family with standard and en-suite facilities available ensuring we are able to cater for all your requirements. Single travellers are most welcome.

We offer complimentary leisure facilities at the near by Windermere Manor. Discount golf vouchers are available for use by our guests and several courses in the area. Including the superb Windermere Golf Club.

Directions
Leave the M6 at J36 and take the A591 signposted through to Windermere, approximately 16 miles. As you enter Windermere you will see the Windermere Hotel on your right. Take the second turning on your left into Ellery Road and High Street is then the first turning on your left. Lingmoor is the third house on the right.
