The Ravensworth was originally a charming private residence dating from the 19th century, and is now a traditional Lakeland stone built guesthouse offering guests an accommodation environment with true character and luxury touches. Many original features have been retained, with the addition of a fine conservatory breakfast room. We're conveniently located on the edge of Windermere village, and have easy access to the many attractions of the Lake District National Park. We're privately owned and run, and ensure all our guests receive a warm welcome and a comfortable stay in this most beautiful area of Lakeland, close to Lake Windermere and all it's attractions.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory between 8.30am - 9.30am. We offer extensive choice, including our traditional full English breakfast which is freshly cooked to order and will definately set you up for the day ahead, whether you're walking the fells or exploring the specialist shops or the World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness on Windermere. For those who would prefer something lighter, or for vegetarians, we have plenty of alternatives to tempt you with. For the benefit and comfort of all our visitors the whole of the Hotel is designated a 'No Smoking' area. We also welcome well-behaved children.
