The Lodge benefits from being in a quiet location off the main road yet still within a few minutes of the shops, restaurants and train station. From here it is just a short stroll down to the edge of the lake.

The day starts with a piping hot hearty Cumbrian breakfast of Cumberland sausage, bacon, potato, tomato, mushrooms, beans and eggs (scrambled, fried or poached). We have an extensive cold table offering all the usual fruit juice, cereals, toast, preserves, yogurts and fresh fruit etc. All our ingredients are local produce including a never ending supply of fresh coffee and a variety of teas.

Rooms Description

At Wheatlands Lodge all of our rooms are well appointed and spacious and are all en-suite with either spa type jacuzzi baths or walk in shower. All rooms are well equipped with tea-coffee facilities, flat screen television, hair dryers and radio as standard.
