Westbury House is a three star rated bed and breakfast in Windermere ideally situated in a quiet side road just two minutes walk from Windermere town centre, where there are shops, restaurants and bars to suit most tastes. Jo and Alan have been in the catering sector for many years and will do whatever they can to ensure your stay is a relaxed and pleasant one. They are only too happy to provide information about the many places of interest in the local area.
The shores of Lake Windermere are an easy 15-20 minute stroll away and from here visitors can take the steamer for a leisurely cruise around the lake. The bus and train station are within easy reach for those who are arriving without a car. Jo and Alan look forward to welcoming you to their charming Victorian B&B in the heart of the magnificent Lake District.

All of the five bedrooms have colour television, en-suite shower rooms with complimentary toiletries and towels, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and alarm clocks. Unfortunately, we do not accept pets or children.

We are only too happy to recommend and book restaurants for you, ranging from a quick snack to somewhere for a special occasion. For the comfort and safety of all of our guests the accommodation is fully non smoking throughout.

Directions
Windermere is situated 15 miles from the M6. Take J36 from the M6 onto the A590 to Windermere. Turn left into the village in front of the Tourist Information Centre. Go through Windermere on the one way system to the only set of traffic lights and take the next left onto Broad Street. We are half way down the left hand side. Free on-street parking and Pay & Display car park directly opposite.
