Holly-Wood is a charming, quietly situated and family owned Guest House ideally situated just a few minutes walk from Windermere Village Centre in the heart of the Lake District. Bowness-on-Windermere, with its boat rides and numerous specialist arts and craft shops, restaurants, cafes and inns is a short stroll down the hill. The B&B is a beautiful Victorian built family home offering guests stylish and secluded accommodation, with friendly service and a warm welcome. The M6 motorway is just 16 miles away and the main London Glasgow railway line has a stop off at Kendal Oxenholme station where you can catch the local connection to Windermere station.

Strictly non-smoking through-out, we are sorry we are unable to accommodate pets. We welcome children from 10 years old. Holly-Wood has it's own small car park at the rear of the property. Guests will love our breakfasts, both traditional and vegetarian, which are served in our spacious dining room between 8.15am and 9am. Packed lunches are also available at a small charge.

Rooms Description

Rooms are available from 2pm. Guests arriving after 6pm please telephone to arrange. Please note that we do not accept arrivals after 10pm. We ask you to vacate your room by 10.30am on day of departure. Holly-Wood has 6 en-suite, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished rooms comprising of 3 doubles, a single, a twin and a family room for 3 people. Rooms are located on first and second floors, we do not have any ground floor rooms. All our rooms have showers, colour television, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, and hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. We have a minimum of 2 nights stay on Fridays and Saturdays.

Specialities

We are introducing Fair Trade products into the Guest House. Currently we provide Fair Trade coffee, hot chocolate and sugar in all our rooms. Fair Trade tea is being sourced.
