About this property

Ivy Bank is an attractive B&B in Windermere and dates from Victorian times, having been originally built in the 1890s with locally sourced Lakeland slate. Located away from the main road in a quiet area of the town but close to all village facilities and travel links. Guests to our bed and breakfast will enjoy the informal feel of our accommodation, as well as our hearty breakfasts. We have traditional Cumbrian fry ups, fish and vegetarian alternatives.

Ivy Bank B&B has five en-suite guest rooms, with four double rooms and one family room. All have individual décor, and we have two superior rooms complete with antique furniture and seating areas. Each guest room is equipped with a flat screen TV and a DVD player, hair dryer, a radio/alarm clock, a drinks tray and complimentary toiletries. Guests are welcome to bring their own DVDs or select one from our library. Free wireless internet is available, free parking and secure storage for bikes.
