Welcome to Beckside Cottage, a small, friendly guesthouse close to Windermere town centre. We welcome families to our bed & breakfast and younger children may enjoy a trip to the World of Beatrix Potter which is in neaby Bowness-on-Windermere. We are ideally situated for many of the walks in the area and your hosts Jenny & Andy will be pleased to advise you on walks and other ways to spend your days.

We serve a hearty breakfast made from local produce in our pleasant dining room and we cater for special dietary requirements on request. There is private parking at the guest house and we are conveniently located for local bus & rail links. The beautiful Lake Windermere is a short drive from the guest house. Pets are welcome, by prior arrangement, and no charge is made for them.
