The Rosemount is fabulously situated between the bustling villages of Bowness and Windermere in the heart of the English Lake District. The property is in an idyllic location just next to secluded woodland with nothing but a stream rushing by to join the famous Lake Windermere in the background. We try to do our ecological bit at breakfast time and you are sure to taste the difference in our sausage and bacon, from the nationally acclaimed Woodall's of Wabberthwaite, near the Cumbrian Coast. Our free range eggs are sourced locally and are the very freshest you could find.

Each day begins with a hearty Lakeland breakfast, made using the best locally sourced ingredients and guaranteed to satisfy the heartiest of appetites in elegant dining room. The substantial breakfast is just what the keen walker and cyclist needs to set them up for a day to be spent exploring the surrounding Lakeland countryside. If you are unlucky enough to find the weather a little poor, then guests staying at The Rosemount have free use of the nearby Parklands Leisure Club where you will find a swimming pool, well equipped gym, sauna and beauty salon.

Rooms Description

We have seven comfortable rooms, each equipped with tea and coffee trays and flat screen TV. Rooms on offer include a double room, family room, four poster bedroom, twin rooms and single room. All of our rooms have en-suite facilities, with the exception of one which has a large private bathroom.

Specialities

We ask for a one pound per person per stay voluntary donation which we give to Cumbria's Tourism and Conservation Partnership. This organisation puts money local projects such as conserving and developing woodland, protecting red squirrels and repairing footpaths.
