We are a small family-run Hotel with 7 comfortably furnished bedrooms with en-suite facilites, tea/coffee/bsicuits tray, colour TV; ironing board; hairdryers. Priding ourselves on a friendly atmosphere and excellent home cooking we can cater for most tastes and needs. Welcoming families, we can also arrange sleeping accommodation to satisfy. If you have any special requirements just let us know beforehand and we'll be happy to do all we can. We have a spacious free car park to the rear.
Open all year, enabling visitors to enjoy the Lake District in all seasons, this attractive Lakeland slate-built period house is conveniently situated less than 10 minutes walk from the Lake. Bowness village centre is nearer still, with a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and inns which are more than guaranteed to satisfy all tastes. Bowness is also home to the "Beatrix Potter Experience", the Old Laundry Theatre and a small multiscreen cinema. Features of the Hotel include the attractive Dining Room, spacious Guests Lounge and period stained-glass windows.

Directions
The most direct route is to take the M6 motorway as far as Junction 36. Turn off here (westwards) towards Kendal on the A590/591 following the signs to Windermere, 16 miles distant. On reaching Windermere village you will see the large Windermere Hotel to your right and a T-Junction immediately afterwards. Turn left at this junction and follow the one-way system through Windermere village along New Road (which then becomes Lake Road). The Hotel is sited on the left hand side of the road, approx 400 meters past the Police Station. Parking is at the rear of the Hotel accessed by the road marked Elim Grove
