A child safety gate is fitted to the top of the stairs and the kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher. The Bathroom on the ground floor has a bath, bidet, handbasin, and WC.

Birch Cottage sleeps 2 plus 2 in two bedrooms. Birch also has a living room with a Lakeland stone fireplace and large French window, as well as an integral kitchen. The unique Main Bedroom is split level, with a 4ft built-in bed on a gallery with a dressing area below which has room for a cot. Larch Cottage, also sleeping 2+2 is a cosy, compact two bedroomed cottage which adjoins Birch Cottage, with a Porch shared with Birch Cottage and a quarry tiled Entrance hall. Lickbarrow Cottage is a traditional Lakeland cottage, built in 1730, was once part of an Eighteenth century farmhouse and retains much of its quaint, original character, including low ceiling beams and sloping floors.
