Waingap is a historic converted barn, now family run and offering guests superb friendly self-catering accommodation. The farmhouse/barn is perfect for large groups of upto 7, especially families. It's located in the South Lakes area at Crook, between Kendal and Windermere, so ideal for all Lake Windermere and Kendal attractions. The barn is also ideal for walkers as it's positioned on the Dales Way offering low level walking, more suitable for families rather than hikers. The barn has been beautifully converted and appointed providing extremely comfortable self catering accommodation for seven visitors. Set in its own land, this holiday home enjoys stupendous views southwards towards Morecombe Bay. Sleeping accommodation consists of a large double bedroom with en-suite facilities, two twin rooms and one single bedroom. There is a family bathroom and a large shower room. As well as the wash room and well-equipped kitchen there is a comfortable dining room and a large living room with views to the North, West and South.

The house stands alone in beautiful walking country near the Dales Way, almost at its western end. The footpaths, bridleways and walled lanes provide innumerable walks directly from the house. This holiday home can also be used as a base to reach all the attractions of the Lake District. Lake Windermere and the towns of Bowness, Windermere and Kendal are all within twenty minutes drive.
