Walkers Retreat is a delightful cottage and an excellent base for exploring Keswick. The cottage is situated in a quiet courtyard in the centre of town, an ideal location to enjoy the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in addition to the superb fell walking. Keswick is situated by Derwent Water and is surrounded by fantastic views of the mountains including Skiddaw, Grizedale Pike and Catbells. Golf, riding and a variety of watersports are available locally. Alternatively take a leisure cruise on Derwent Water, or visit nearby Bassenthwaite Lake where there are numerous viewing points of the Osprey.

The cottage is part of a large old Lakeland Barn in the centre of Keswick. The cottage has two bedrooms and can sleep from 1-4. The cottage has a real home from home feel. It has private off street parking. All fuel and power is included in the rent as is supplied bed linen. Walkers Retreat is available all year round. For the comfort of all our guests the cottage is no smoking throughout, and we do not allow pets. The cottage has double glazing to all windows, full central heating through electric storage heaters and is beautifully decorated with all furniture of the highest quality. Guests can relax in the lounge/dining room with colour TV, video and stereo unit. The kitchen has a superb range of very well equipped modern units, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, microwave and electric cooker. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower, toilet, wash basin and shaver point. Bedroom one has a double bed, whilst bedroom two has adult bunk beds with solid frame bunks and 3ft mattresses. Walkers Retreat has been inspected by the Keswick Tourist Association's independent Inspector to a very specific criteria to ensure quality and safety.
