Park House is a charming 3 storey, stone-built Victorian guesthouse, which has been newly restyled and re-furbished offering high quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation and awarded 4 star rating. We offer guests a choice of 4 double en-suite bedrooms and 2 singles. We're ideally situated in the heart of Ambleside, one of the most picturesque villages of the English Lake District, with many specialist shops, the Armitt Museum and of course Wordsworth's home nearby. This small family run guest house is surrounded by dramatic scenery and is only a short walk from the northern edge of Lake Windermere. Loughrigg is a very popular fell close by to climb, and from the top you can look down on Ambleside and right over Lake Windermere.

We have 4 double rooms and 2 singles. En-suite rooms are available. All bedrooms are equipped with a hospitality tray, colour television with remote control, fully fitted wardrobes, hair dryer and digital clock radio. Over breakfast, take in the spectacular views from our cosy, traditional dining room. With a full days' walking or sight-seeing stretching ahead of you, what better way to start your day than with one of our hearty full English breakfasts. We use only the finest, fresh local produce - tasty rindless back bacon, scrumptious Cumberland sausage, the freshest of eggs, and all the trimmings. We also cater for vegetarians and offer a choice of eggs with vegetarian sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast.
