Specialities

Stonecross Manor has a most interesting history, and was originally an orphanage for young girls who were to go into service. The property was bequeathed to Kendal in 1857 by the Squiress of Levens, Mrs Mary Howard. The house has been extensively modernised and converted to the fine building you see today. Leisure facilities in the hotel are excellent and include an indoor heated swimming pool and Spa bath. We're the perfect Lakeland wedding venue, and our Mary Howard Suite is an ideal venue to hold your wedding celebration. The suite incorporates its own bar, dance floor and wine station, ensuring a first class service for all of your guests. The suite itself can be arranged in many styles to suit your requirements. Honeymoon suites with spa baths are complimentary for the Bride & Groom with bookings of 100 guests or more.
