Rosemount Cottage is an idyllic self-catering holiday cottage, or alternatively a B&B service is offered, ideally located in the village of Burgh by Sands on the Hadrian's Wall National Trail and Cycleway and the Cumbrian Coastal Path and Cycle route. We're perfect as a walker base, located within the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by stunning countryside close to the Solway coastline and the Lake District National Park. The Hadrian's Wall National Trail and Hadrian's Cycleway pass right outside the cottage. You'll find us on the Main Street in Burgh by Sands just 250 metres from The Greyhound Inn.

Walkers and cyclists are most welcome to stay at Rosemount Cottage whether as a base for exploring the local area or as a stopping off point along the trails and cycleways. Many amenities are close at hand, including two delightful pubs nearby. The Greyhound Inn is just 250 metres away and the Drover's Rest at Monkhill is a 15-20 minute walk, or we can give you a lift! Many perks are offered for the benefit of walkers and cyclists including flexible arrival times, flexible breakfast times, morning calls/alarm clocks, maps, Laundry/Drying/Ironing facilities, secure cycle storage, packed lunches and transport to and from trails. We also offer a baggage transport service, a puncture repair kit on hand if needed, a first aid kit and internet access. We also keep a limited stock of provisions for purchase such as drinks and confectionery.
