Around Staffield Hall are a network of quiet lanes, footpaths and river walks and leaflets are available from the village shop. Some of the apartments have four poster beds and the building itself is built of warm red sandstone, and was completely refurbished to the highest luxury standards in 2005. Amenities are numerous and include a laundry room with automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Extensive grounds surrounding these unique apartments are a haven for widlife, including red squirrels, and flowers, with terraced lawns and a fountain. Every apartment offers an impressive range of quality fine furnishings and equipment including designer kitchens and luxury bathrooms, and all except one have whirlpool baths and power showers. This fine, romantic Victorian manor house is crammed with beautiful features including a devine central staircase, a huge stained glass window and a chandelier.

Rooms Description

The apartments are located on the ground, first and second floors of the Hall. For the benefit of honeymooners some of the apartments are available by arrangement for a Sunday start. All apartments have welcome baskets of tea, coffee, and sugar. Chocolates and cosy bath robes will also await you. Telephones are being installed and broadband connection is available at the hall. Rates include all linen towels and bathrobes, power and heating costs and the VAT. The choice of 8 luxury apartments includes the Manor Hall which sleeps 6 + 2 and occupies all of the ground floor. The Manor Hall has three bedrooms, all en-suite complete with luxury whirlpool baths and power showers and a specially designed circular kitchen in the dining room with drinks bar and granite tops. This apartment is perfect for dinner parties in front of the large hand carved fire place.

For a cosier luxury option choose Dove Cote which sleeps 2 + 2 and is located on the second floor. This sunny, peaceful and airy apartment is entirely South facing with exquisite exposed beams, sloping ceilings and an unusual half domed ceiling, give an atmosphere of warm cosiness. Enjoy an original Victorian fireplace (not in use) which truly adds to its character. Dove Cote has a large 'L' shaped sitting room with a dining kitchen area, luxury bathroom with Bio-jet whirlpool bath and power shower, shower over bath, toilet and basin. Dove Cote makes the perfect Eden Valley romantic weekend getaway with a large double bedroom with 6' double bed. Alternatively choose large Heavenfield which sleeps 4 guests. This First floor elegant apartment has an entrance hall, large sitting room with dining area and a King size bed. Other features include a fully fitted designer kitchen, a small dressing room with fitted wardrobe and vanity area, leading to a lovely bedroom with 6' super king size bed that can be made up as two single beds if required.
