Just eight miles from Keswick and dating back to 1770, the cottage retains a great deal of character features including exposed beams, an attractive fireplace made from local stone and a spiral staircase. The accommodation is simple yet comfortable and the amenities of the village - including a traditional village pub - are on the doorstep. Bassenthwaite itself is ideally placed for exploring the Lakes and surrounding areas.
