There are doors to a spacious patio, which is shared with the property next door, making this ideal for large groups of friends or family to enjoy the area together. En-suites to some of the bedrooms, and geothermal heating and solar panels mean this cottage is both eco-friendly and convenient for families. Close to both the Lakes and Dales National Parks, this cottage makes a wonderful base for groups.

We have a large first floor country kitchen that you can cook family meals in. We’ve fitted the room with panelled cabinets with granite-style worktops and a small breakfast bar, and there is a dining table to seat all guests in the adjoining room. In the kitchen you’ll find an eye level double oven, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a freezer and 2 fridges. Our bedrooms start on the ground floor, with an en suite super king size bedroom, which can be converted into a twin room and has a further pull out bed for one other person. There’s also a king size bedroom and a twin room on this floor. The second floor holds another en suite super king size room and two twin bedrooms, one of which can be a super king size room. In addition to the en suite bathrooms there are two family bathrooms at our cottage.
We are family friendly and can provide one cot and high chair for guests staying with a baby or toddler. The back patio area at the cottage is shared with guests in another of our properties, located next door, which can be booked in conjunction with Etland House Cottage to accommodate 20 people. There is off road parking for multiple vehicles, as well as bike storage, and we can allow two pets to stay.
