An exceptional choice of walks surround our Westmorland cottage which is a section wing area of a Grade listed building, now offering delightful self-catering studio accommodation. One well behaved dog is welcome and we're just a two minute stroll from a superb Westmorland real ale inn.
Our romantic Grade listed Westmorland cottage is a mere three miles from the ancient market town of Appleby which features an outstanding choice of real ale inns, specialist shops and local produce markets. Attractions in the surrounding rolling Eden Valley range from ruined castles and ancient churches to animal parks like Eden Ostrich World. Ample walking opportunities feature around the cottage either to the south in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, to the west in the Lake District National Park or beyond Appleby to the north in the wild and captivating North Pennines. Ullswater, historic Carlisle and classic railway journey, the Settle to Carlisle railway are all within easy touring distance.
Our cosy holiday cottage in the Eden Valley sleeps two guests and boasts living space all on one floor. The property has one king-sized double bedroom which can be a twin on request. Open plan in style, the fitted kitchen area contains a duel function oven/ microwave and a fridge whilst the sitting room features Freeview tv, a CD/ radio and a DVD. A collection of DVDs and books are also available for guest use. All bedlinen/ towels and power are included in booking.
Our beautiful Grade listed Dufton cottage in the Eden Valley sits adjacent to our home and guests have full access to our pretty garden area. Off street parking is on-site for two cars and the cottage features a pretty patio area with garden furniture.
