The cottage is situated in the heart of the peaceful village of Dean on the edge of the unspoilt Northern Lake District, 5 miles south of the pleasant town of Cockermouth, bustling market town of Keswick 11 miles. Dean has a delightful country pub/ restaurant. The cottage benefits from a stoned wall garden with patio/BBQ area makes for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Ideally situated for exploring the Northern Lakes - Loweswater, Crummock, Buttermere, Bassenthwaite, Ennerdale, mountains, glorious valleys, historic, cultural & family attractions are worth visiting. The increasingly popular West Cumbria and The Solway Coast/St.Bees Head are a short distance.Area famous for the sunset over Criffel. Carlisle & the Scottish Borders are easily accessible.

2 double bedrooms with open beams. Bathroom with shower & bath. Bed linen & Towels provided. Large beamed lounge open fire & very comfortable double bed settee. The lounge benefits from Digital TV/DVD/Video and CD player. Large open plan dining area and kitchen benefiting from dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, electric oven/cooker, microwave, large pine dining table. The dining area has bed settee if needed. Cottage has a stoned wall secret mature garden with BBQ/patio. Shed can be used for storage of bikes. Able parking for 3 cars.
