Gilcrux is just 25 minutes from Keswick and 10 minutes from the Solway coast. All amenities are close by, and the cottage is within 50 yards of a restaurant, village pub, shop and laundry.

All modern facilities are provided including bed linen, towels, a television, parking for two cars, oil fired central heating, and a microwave. Short breaks are available (minimum 2 day stays), please enquire when booking. Children over 10 years of age only are welcome. Changeover day can be flexible to suit your needs. The cottage layout includes one ensuite double bedroom and one ensuite twin bedroom. The double ensuite comprises bath with shower over, sink and toilet. The twin ensuite includes separate shower, sink and toilet. The living area is open plan with lounge, kitchen and diner. Short breaks are accepted
