Rowan Keld is a family house in the quiet village of Portinscale. We have a double en-suite room that has been recently redecorated to a high standard. The house is set well back from the road and has ample parking space, sufficient to accommodate trailered boats. The house also has a drying room for the occasional wet spell! Double bed, en-suite bathroom with power-shower, hospitality tray, alarm radio, colour TV with teletext and a DVD player for your CDs or localy hired DVDs.

Portinscale is a small, quiet village 1 mile to the west of Keswick. Portinscale is next to Derwentwater ('the queen of the Lakes') and has two Marina's where boats can be launched. The Village is within easy walking distance of Keswick and is an ideal place for exploring many of the North-western fells without using a car.
