Lakeland Segway in Cumbria offers Segway tours around a scenic private estate, including the essential introduction tour around the grounds and gardens of Graythwaite Hall and an extended adventure tour featuring woodland tracks and trails taking in the shoreline of Windermere itself. Pre-booking is essential; maximum of six people per Graythwaite tour or four people per Adventure tour. "Seggers" must be 14 or older. Weight restrictions apply.

Since Lakeland Segway is located close to the shores of Windermere, it's close to a variety of other attractions to keep you busy throughout the day, including a number of golf courses and the Lakeland Equestrian Centre. There's also a local steam railway travelling between Lakeland and Haverthwaite and the Aquarium of the Lakes nearby.

Unique Features

The Graythwaite Segway Tour takes place in the estate grounds immediately around Graythwaite Hall itself, with personal use of a Segway x2. The training session takes around 20 minutes followed by the tour, lasting another 40 minutes (approx). For the more experienced Segger, the Adventure tour lasts 70 - 90 minutes and allows you to travel the less frequented areas of the Lake District over more demanding terrain. This Adventure tour requires previous experience of the Graythwaite tour. Nb: all tours must be pre-booked.
